Lesin (46) grew within Strauss, where he has worked for the past 20 years. He joined the Group in 1993 as Regional Sales Manager of Strauss Salads, and since has made his way up in sales, until he became CEO of Strauss's sales division in 1999 and oversaw its activity for 4 years. In 2003, with the announcement of the merger between Strauss and Elite, he was appointed CEO of Strauss Dairies and a management member of Strauss-Elite Israel. During that period he steered the dairies towards fine achievements. In 2006, Lesin relocated to the U.S. with his family, to manage Sabra. In this capacity he accompanied the partnership between PepsiCo and Sabra, and built infrastructures for Sabra's rapid growth and expansion. Towards the end of 2007 he was appointed CEO of Strauss Israel. Lesin assumed the role of President & CEO of Strauss Group in 2009, during one of the most challenging periods in Group history: Becoming a global company that operates in the markets of the U.S., Central and Eastern Europe, Brazil and the former Soviet Union. Lesin holds an MBA with distinction from Ben Gurion University in Israel. He is married with 3 daughters and known for his love of Maccabi Tel Aviv's basketball games.
